What a difference a few hours makes - so long Toronto and thanks for all the conversations and community ❤️
December 4, 2024 at 2:38 PM
And last but not least the folks who showed up for both my workshop sessions and stayed up to the very end - you are why I do this! Thanks for the questions, the conversation and the community ❤️ Happy #MicrosoftAITour day!
December 3, 2024 at 11:20 PM
And always a joy to visit the Community booth - ask Betsy about the MVP program and Alicia about Microsoft Reactor Toronto. great to meet MVPs in person ❤️

The hub was still open - two booths that I found useful to visit.

Are you an entrepreneur? Check out the Microsoft For Startups booth, ask about Founders Hub!

Are you a learner- talk to Erik at the Microsoft Learn booth to learn about resources & certifications

Also had a chance to explore the Hub area and hope to help out more later! These 4 topics are top of mind for AI engineers so stop by and talk to the experts there:

Azure AI Foundry
Azure AI Content Safety
Azure AI Agent Service
Azure Open AI Service

Got a chance to check out the ‘Make a postcard with Trustworthy AI’ booth before the crowds file in. A great use of AI to create an image of you based on your personalized prompt with Microsoft Designer.

Let me say that it did a good enough job that you will recognize me by the outfit at least 😁

Listening to Alysa Taylor set the stage for keynote by identifying the three major shifts that moved the industry before- mobile, internet and cloud

And now the shift to AI with the Copilot ecosystem as your AI powered companion

Copilot = UI for AI
Human + Copilot + Agents

Me + AI + Automation

Packed room for the keynote at MSAITour - going to keep this thread open to share interesting things I hear or learn today
December 3, 2024 at 2:52 PM
I’ll walk you through the steps to build a custom retail copilot for first on Azure AI Foundry- and give you a sandbox that you can take back home and revisit on your own to explore optional ideas or dive deeper into the details behind the development!

Join us for a packed day of labs, talks, hub demos and discussion- all kicking off with a keynote this morning! Fine me for 2X lab sessions 12-3:30pm

Are you a #Duolingo learner? It’s the #2024YearInReview and I wrote about the stat I am proudest of here - and why

Also good morning Toronto!! Here for the Microsoft AI Tour where I will be delivering two lab sessions on building RAG based copilots code-first on Azure AI Foundry.

It’s an advanced lab that has evolved over nearly a year with thousands of devs skilled. The best part? Conversations with community!

TMW you are on a 2hr call training some trainers and find out everyone has gone to sleep at home. But someone (a 16yo) has been busy getting things ready for Thanksgiving day 👀

I first moved to Chicago over two decades ago - and one of the images that remains in my mind to this day is the sculptures that dot the downtown area - there’s a Picasso somewhere but Alexander Calder’s Flamingo will forever be my favorite! It’s grace forged with a steely backbone! Had to stop by!
November 18, 2024 at 11:10 PM
Oh Chicago ❤️❤️❤️
November 18, 2024 at 10:13 PM
Okay this is the day before the #MSIgnite conference and the registration line is already wrapping around a few times! Forgot what conferences of this size feel like #CommunityRocks

I’m excited now - wishing we had more time to show more cool things ❤️

Get you a hotel where you call to see if they have coffee for a late night sprint - and they deliver a Nespresso machine to your room with enough pods & creamers to power you through a couple of hours. ❤️

Sure I’ll regret it in the morning but it was good coffee
November 18, 2024 at 4:33 AM
Made it to ORD and welcomed by this sign for #MSIgnite - nice! Was really happy to see the underground lighted tunnel again
November 17, 2024 at 8:35 PM
Haven’t been to LGA since the renovation - but gotta say this is a vast improvement on the airport I remember
November 17, 2024 at 1:49 PM
Does export as MP4 work? 🧪 testing now
November 17, 2024 at 12:54 PM
Hey Skytalkers!! I’m headed to Chicago for #MSIgnite and hope I get to see some of you in person

Also they say you should start as you mean to go on - I work in AI but I find joy in creative things! Been using Procreate for years to illustrate in 2D but this year I want to learn animation- #001 ftw

A new day in Hudson Valley ❤️

Happy Mothers Day to all who celebrate. With thanks for those who influences, and our North stars.

With compassion for those who lost loved ones.

And with 💯 support for the right of every person to choose for themselves if they want to have kids (or not), at any time, with no societal pressure. 💪🏽
