This is our state reptile in Missouri! Where I grew up near the rivers we often encountered turtles and my favorite were these box turtles. They were so patient with us kids. I hope we didn’t traumatize them too much.

Her shoes. Inspired by a social media post that seemed like an innocuous fit check but the light under the doorway in her photo creeped me out. When I painted it, I wanted it to seem ambiguous, odd, and surreal like a half-remembered dream.

Any of my fellow Christians who have invoked their version of god to justify excluding these children or families, know you will be judged for your hatefulness (even if you dressed it up as love). Kirby Spiderman for a young man who came by my table for Free Comic Book Day a couple years back. He wanted to request a free sketch but was terribly shy. I asked his two favorite characters and we drew them combined. He was so proud he showed it off to his siblings and all his friends at school!

On my reboot of ACNH, I started out with two villagers in track jackets which was weird. Charlise is an absolute bitch to my character and Bam won't shut up about his gains. They're the most annoying roommates and make me do all the work.
