Good morning! If you’re making the wise decision to watch PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES today, allow me to re-share one of my all-time fave pieces: for @vanityfair.com, my oral history of the greatest Thanksgiving movie ever! www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/20...
'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' at 35: An Oral History of One of the Most Beloved Road Movies Ever Made
Starring Steve Martin and John Candy, the John Hughes road trip comedy had a nearly four-hour runtime at one point. Hear from cast, crew, and Hughes' family about the classic.

We all remember the last time that tried to take away ACA.

We fought hard, we made calls, we write emails, we visited the house and the senate.

This time will be worse. They are obsessed with killing ACA (aka Obamacare).

We will stop them again.

Are you in?
Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican enablers in Congress have a diabolical obsession with terminating the Affordable Care Act — ripping away coverage for 140 million Americans with pre-existing medical conditions and kicking young adults off family plans.

We will stop them AGAIN!

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

It's weird that Looking for Alaska is the second-most banned book in the U.S., and mostly challenged by evangelical Christians, because the novel is about Radical Hope and how forgiveness is available to all people at all times, which are Christian concepts I wrote about because I'm a Christian.

We left X and joined Bluesky because those against our parks said, “If you don’t like it, leave.” So we did. And now they’re saying, “No, come back so we can say mean things to you—it makes us feel important.”

people with high priced degrees from prestigious law schools will spend the next four years telling you the text of the fourteenth amendment does not say what it plainly says.

This stuff is unconstitutional, no matter what they or one court thinks, and it must be treated as such
