Talk to @louiserees.bsky.social at Swansea, they had open door teachers as part of their PGCert and a requirement to observe two staff. Might have changed by now, but this was what I had to do in 2018-2020

A2 as others have said the recognition of the award and therefore opportunities to disseminate best practice. It really helps having a good pedagogical background to be able to frame your work within. For me though learning to reflect was the key skills #LTHEchat

A1 sorry…late to the party tonight…gained Fellowship from F to SF to PF (2017, 2019, 2024) as a teaching focused academic. Currently working in a PS role supporting others to achieve theirs. For me applying for fellowship is about offering space to reflect on what people do in their roles #LTHEchat

The bubble will inevitably burst at some point. GenAI is just the latest existential threat to education…like books, the radio, television, the internet, Wikipedia and Google, which were all going to be the death of education. It’s a tool we will just have to learn to work with.

Which would be fine had they not been speeding coming off the a470, had stopped at red lights and then sped off far in excess of the speed limit.

100% The workload associated with staff having to try to keep up to date with AI developments etc needs to be recognised in workloads and staff well-being discussions
