I'm guessing she's never been to church? A devotee of Mithras or Kali perhaps? Very suitable for a tory.

Hmm....maybe we could put loads of tricolours in Kent...

Motorised vehicle on the pavement? Illegal, surely?

Quick sideways kick into the path of a lorry?

18 could also be Attila the Hun. Hun=Germanic!

Or...Audrey Hepburn? Is there a 'Friends of Audrey Hepburn' in the same way as 'Friends of Judy Garland'?

I'm not convinced the raffle thing is strictly legal. I've asked Westminster Council (where they're registered for lotteries)

But in Roman times...

The ancient Roman government implemented various policies designed to provide financial aid to the poor: the cura Annonae was a grain redistribution program and the alimenta was a welfare program for impoverished children.

(wikipedia, so it's probably true)

Why are most politicians so f*cking badly educated?

The refuckers are between 2 stools here. If they don't appoint a 'Welsh leader' they'll rightly be slagged off, but they can't appoint one as they haven't got any members in Cymru (or anywhere) who aren't on the Kremlin payroll. I wonder if they get an invite to the staff Xmas party in Red Square?

Was this before of after they learned about boiling medical instruments to sterilise them after use?

But will any of his Secret Service guards do the right thing and act?

I thought the USA didn't recognise international tribunals? Particularly regarding war crimes.

So what if it's against the Constitution? The Constitution is clearly no more than a series of suggestions and aspirations. There's no mechanism in it to enforce these ideals. If there was Trump would have been arrested by the first LEO he met.

But why does no-one mention the other four million kids who are still in poverty? Maybe we need a budget that puts them before millionaire Labour donors.

Amongst their clients, they claim

British Red Cross @britishredcross.bsky.social
Poundland
Christies
Johnson & Johnson
SAP
Virgin Atlanic
Costcutter @costcutter.bsky.social

Maybe worth contacting them to suggest they reconsider whether they want a business relationship with fash-cilitators?

I just got one as well.

As a side note: who do Refuk use to send out their junk mail to Wales? Do they support Welsh businesses by giving them the work? No, they were sent via

Hardings Print Solutions Ltd
647 River Gardens
Feltham, Middlesex
TW14 0RB

Time to boycott these facilitators of fascism.

And if you stuffed the envelope with old newspapers it could be a bigger surcharge, so definitely don't.

And as for taping the label to a brick - heaven forbid!

What is it about VHS tapes that makes them prone to mould?

They both look fascinating, but it seems that Village is only available from amazon, and I don't use amazon. Ordered Fenwomen though from Bookshop.org

Re-using PET bottles and aluminium cans is quite tricky. I don't know of any places that have managed it.

Recycling glass is still much better than landfill. I agree that re-using glass bottles is a lot more complicated. We have a lot of local farmers who do milk bottle re-use via local shops.
