I mean it's not complicated. Twenty people who were there have confirmed that Nigel Farage said all of these things.

He's the only one denying it, which means just one thing. He is a liar

Twenty people allege he has a racist past. He denies it. Who’s telling the truth about Farage’s schooldays?

Of course in many respects everyone's life could be better. But that was always the case. There was never a time when life was particularly better than now.

So at what point in recent years did we start to expect that the government would take care of everything? And why?

UK 30 year gilt yield, down from the breathlessly reported 5.75%, is now 5.51%.

Not that you will hear this from all the journalist accounts who were gunning for Reeves all week.

Migrants didn't cut council funding. Migrants didn't cut NHS funding. Migrants didn't close youth centres. Migrants didn't sell off council houses. Migrants aren't filling our rivers with sewage.

Farage and co. will tell you to point the finger at migrants.

Don't fall for it.

What makes it worse is that the attacks become white noise, obscuring everything, including legitimate criticism of some government actions & policies as well as hiding the good stuff. Meanwhile, Reform are paraded as a viable alternative, much like leaving the EU was in 2016. Same people & tactic.
