#phototip. Saturation. Most of us abuse it. It’s ok. Just grow out of it sooner rather than later 😂. But when you learn the “just right” amount, you (and your fans) will be much happier. We all do it. It’s ok.

This is the way it was that day. Crazy huh? Light matters.

If you were born at the same time as Jesus Christ, and starting right there, you made $17,000 for every hour you’ve been alive until today.

That’s 2024 years, making $17,000 per hour 24 hours every single day.

You’d still have less money than Elon Musk.

I recently purchased and completed Red Dead Redemption 2 (yes, I take my time in buying games :p).

How is Rockstar ever going to top that?
They have set the bar so high for themselves.

Religious people claim that there's no objective morality without a god and, furthermore, without a god, there's no compass to guide morality.

I don't really like the word "skeet" for Bluesky posts.
The interface already is a bit-by-bit copy of Twitter; we don't need to copy the terms too.

Java came in 3rd in this benchmark test that runs 1 billion loop iterations (after Rust and C)

benjdd.com/languages/
Ran each three times and used the lowest timing for each. Timings taken on an M3 Macbook pro with 16 gb RAM using the /usr/bin/time command. Input value of 40 given to each.

Imagine a math formula such that, if you plotted it in a Cartesian plane, the resulting shape is the formula itself 😀

I sometimes get the feeling that people that bash on TDD:
1) Don't know / haven't tried beyond basic TDD
2) Don't share the codebase with many people
3) Are indie devs / don't need to care about the quality and safety of continuous refactoring
4) Don't need to modify legacy codebases.

Some people that defend X are trying to convince themselves and others that the reason people flee from it is because of diversity of opinions. While some people need an echo chamber, it's not the whole truth as you can see in many posts in this platform.
