Bi feminist, she/her
I have never heard it explained this way before. As a parent of a trans child, and who is going through peri menopause myself, I understand what it feels like to have your hormones out of balance. Thank you so much for sharing this.

It is unbelievably cruel. People need to see the harm is coming from the people who claim to care about their safety.

That is really lovely. I need to hear stories like this right now, thank you.

What a unique perspective to experience both stereotypical responses. My husband used to take my son to a toddler group that had no other dads. He was mostly ignored. People treated him like he was a threat, and it was weird he was there. My son loved the group, so he kept going anyway.

Thank you, I absolutley will. He deserves better than this shit. As do you.

It is. So much happens so quickly that I forget. What I have noticed is when I lay it all out for people from start to finish they are shocked. So hopefully documenting it will save me having to keep telling people. So much has changed even in this last year.

Also, if it's just general things that are happening and not personal to my child, I get ChatGP to write it. It takes some of the emotional toll it takes to do it away.

I email my MP every week, and he pretty much ignores me, but in my mind, it's gathering evidence of how little they care. One day, they will all be pretending they had no part in the damage to our kids, and we will have the evidence they knew and did nothing.

I really appreciate all that you do.

I have given up writing to him now, it just feels pointless and I have to protect my energy. You are doing an amazing job under the most horrific of circumstances. When they are out there saying we are exaggerating about the harms you speaking up as you do is proof they lie.

Thank you. He did deserve care. He is a monster. He sat stoney faced listening. It was awful. I knew going in it was a tick box exercise, but you can't help having a little bit of hope. You're right. What they don't realise is how fiercely we will protect our kids.

3 - To hear he is still in touch with the abusive parents torturing their children, says it all. He made a choice, he chose to only keep in touch with those parents. He heard children were dying and instead chose to listen to the abusers.

2 - He promised to come back to me on some issues I raised. He gave my child hope that he cared about his wellbeing. Then, they banned the blockers anyway. He has ignored us since that meeting. He never got back to me on the points I raised.

This makes me sick. My child and I were part of the group that met with him last year. He said at the time he wanted to work with us. He promised to get back to me about things I raised, and he has ignored us ever since. He is choosing to only hear and work with abusive parents instead.

The Cass review had a predetermined outcome also.

At this point, I'm not so sure scrapping it is a bad thing. It's horrific what they are going to put kids through in that trial.
