Folks, what are the best listening clubs youve come across?

In person or online. I’m just kind of interested in how they are presented etc.

Im in @cityam.bsky.social calling the CEO of B&M a lucky general.

They are having a bit of a day of it as it turns out but I do think they are onto a winner medium term.

Iran self-sabotaged its connectivity to defend against Israeli cyber attacks.

New subplot every time there’s a cyber attack here too just dropped.

The new Apple ‘liquid’ interface is a prototype for ambient computing.

I cannot decide it if it is a good one yet though.

‘LLM as operating system’

The thing is… before windows and browsers we basically just asked tech to do stuff for us.

After it… does the operating system need much interaction at all?

Isn’t it weird that we haven’t really worked out how to handle sickness in digital work?

Culturally or in tech.

Email and slack just stack up on people.

There’s not really a proper ‘out of office’ message or a digital ‘mode’ you can switch on to triage etc.

Given the lack of crowds for the football club World Cup… this is surely pretty brutal for the R360 idea in rugby?

Isn’t it kind of weird that there are so many articles about over-tourism and so few about over-landlordism?

Have you noticed this Father’s Day how so many people are posting AI images of their dads who have passed?

When there must surely be real photos of them.

So the AI image is more like the memory than the real one?

Or they don’t have access to the real ones?

What drives this?

This talk of the social web does seem quite old now.
I've thought a lot about this article since I first read it and it backs-up my problems with this platform. As much as X is full of hate, Bluesky is too full of 'nice' (until you show an opinion outside of what some groups of people like). We need more conversation here and that takes both side.
Bluesky Is Plotting a Total Takeover of the Social Internet
All the lefties fled to Bluesky following Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. But CEO Jay Graber says the app is for everyone—and could revolutionize how people communicate online.

Trumpist candidates outside the US do seem to be bad at winning quite winnable elections.

Is this because of the message or the messenger?
