A debate between Angus Taylor MP and Jim Chalmers MP would be an absolute snorefest anyway, as they are in lockstep on the big issues.

7 Tasmania has just been bought by ADH. ADH lists Advance as one of its partners. Advance are funded by billionaires and fossil fuel interests and have a stated intention to destroy the Greens. Be warned. We are watching the oligarchs take over in the US and it’s happening here.

Labor’s extra investment into Medicare will make a huge difference. This announcement is a significant part of the Greens ‘GP for Free’ plan.

We have pressured Labor to act, and they finally have - voting Greens forces Labor to do better.

Mortgage stress is increasing yet Commbank have just posted a staggering $5.13bn half-yearly profit, up 7% on the preceding 6 months.

Last year Commbank CEO defended corporate profiteering when he whinged about the Greens plan to tax excessive corporate profits.

Yesterday we learned of millions of dollars in corporate donations to the major parties. Now the CEOs come to Parliament to dictate how our country should run.

Instead of selling out to them, we should make them pay their fair share of tax so more people can have a better life.

Uncle Jim’s defence of his country against industrial logging has inspired many including me. He should be warmly thanked rather than convicted and fined. The real crimes here are destroying Aboriginal heritage, logging species into extinction and heating the planet.

He hasn’t even left Parliament yet and he’s already landed a plum corporate gig for a major bank that has given his party nearly $800,000 in donations in the past decade. It’s a big club and you’re not in it.
