Hmmmm... where were all the protests about an American performer at the Superbowl after 9/11? Seems like that would have been appropriate. U2 is great, don't get me wrong. But no outcry? No stomping of feet, huffing and puffing? The racism is a little thick.

My inlaws are Trumpeters and only know FuxNews talking points. They and my wife (who admits to not being as informed as she'd like but she cares) got in a massive argument that may cancel the family Xmas get-together. Them: we wouldn't want DT as a friend but we like his policies and generosity. WTF

As a senior professor (& non-christian) who encourages different points of view, I agree with saying that the paper didn't cite empirical evidence but IMO saying the writing was "offensive" and without empathy went too far. #opinion

Meds and therapy have me at a place where I won't do myself in - even though I do think about it. But if something fatal happened, oh well. Would it be so bad to be done? People automatically say "How are you?" as they pass me and I say "Weary" and we keep going. Nobody has ever wondered about it.
