Of course, I didn't think anyone who hadn't actually harmed a child should be thrown in jail or anything, but I was a/so fully prepared to kill myself if I ever "fell over the line" myself Funny enough, what really changed that for me started out with all the MAP stuff. I was on the usual sites lolicons lolicongregate, and feeling in a bit of a taboo mood, so decided out of curiosity to see if there were any MAP related tags on the booru, and sure enough there were. One of the most recent results was an image set featuring a transfem character who was a MAP. Felt a little tasteless, given the current political climate, but the art was really cute. And shockingly, in the comments under the images there were MAPs of all things There was of course the typical horny banter found in image board comments, but also something that really shocked some perspective into me: a pretty much universa/ appreciation and acceptance of trans girls. They were all so kind and welcoming and ljust got to thinking, "this is the kind of person l've been horrified to become?" These people who would welcome me, as I am, with open arms? And once I got over the rather depressing realization that pedophiles were better trans allies than most cis people, it really made me sit back and reevaluate pretty much every belief I'd ever held on the matter. And in really thinking about it, I came to pretty much every conclusion that ISFF's friend outlined the other day. When I saw the post, I was almost stunned at how similar it sounded to exactly what I'd reasoned out in my head barely 2 months back. And despite the expected reactionary backlash, t's been downright heartwarming to see all the support people have given as well. Seeing you, someone who is loudly and proudly a pedophile, someone with an attraction that the majority deems "morally wrong" whose only "crime" is not being ashamed of yourself (where have we heard that story before, gays guys?), makes me think that maybe, things really are changing for the better I don't really know if there's a point to this rambling little story, or if I just wanted to get it off of my chest, but thanks for indulging me anyway. May the opinions of the pedophobes !knew-that-means "fear of-children" but-shush die on their lips before you ever have to hear them. veryvocallyexpired 2h ago it is a stroy im very familiar with even among the groups closest to pedophilic attraction (ageplayers, lolicons, etc) the stigma against the pedophile specifically is so strong that there is still a desire to distance oneself from us and i talked about this before, but my experiences with pedophile communities has also been very positive many of them had problems of bigotry, much like every online community, but i found far more support for being trans in the first pedophile communities i entered than any of the other spaces i was in at the time
