Even hardcore Nintendo people who largely only know videogames to be *Nintendo* games will at least not base their personality around a contempt for like, Sony. Disney fans, same way, they'll just enjoy their corporate product. WWE stans; they believe themselves to be soldiers defending papa Haich.

It's an odd thing because like... I remember the console wars, I've been part of several sports fandoms/rivalries; I've never seen anything like the sort of utter contempt and distain WWE stans have for not just competition but the *concept* of competition.

It's one of the wonderful things about AEW; where someone built like Orange Cassidy or Darby or Jungle Jack can not only have careers, but successful careers where they are clearly respected by the promotion. A lot of the indie guys AEW readily took in and made stars would not even appear on WWE TV.

Important to note that N64 functionality does not necessarily mean the current Cyclone can run PS1/Saturn games; iirc decoding the CD itself actually takes a fair amount of processing power and cannot easily be reproduced.

Probably a good sign they're going to keep the 3D in production though; typically Analogue won't produce any more product than absolutely necessary. It would make sense to use the Cyclone moving forward; maybe they even release cartridge adaptor as a replacement for the NT/SG/Super NT.
