This, this, this. I hate how machine learning is being confused with LLMs and diffusion models, and the magic sparkles. Keep that shit out of my machine learning, and while we're at it, make crypto mean cryptography again, people need to learn GPG, privacy from big tech, and to encrypt their drives.
I know it’s intentional but we should stop calling everything AI, lumping useful machine learning techniques for science with large language models that tech companies are trying to cram into everything.

I still can't believe Markiplier made a movie that grossed #1 here. Insane that a YouTuber made a better received horror movie than most Hollywood majors. Though I'm talking purely audience, the critics didn't seem to like it much due to a seeming lack of plot. Not that I really like horror movies.
