It's time for the annual rewatch of Lord of the Rings leading up to Christmas, and with just a couple exceptions, I can confidently say theatrical cut is far and away the superior version.

Some mornings one of your kids has a meltdown about a really frivolous thing and it takes every ounce of your patience and restraint to help guide them through it and calm them down without snapping or blowing your stack and you do it! Success!

I’m playing the System Shock remake at the moment and, comparatively speaking, everyone on Citadel Station has their shit *completely together*
Again, to every videogame writer who wrote funny emails to read in an immersive sim/etc. where I rolled my eyes and said out loud, "lol like anyone would ever email something this on the nose", again, sorry, I was wrong, life sucks, you nailed it

Putting aside all the horrible shit in them: I cannot believe the global elite composes emails like fucking horses who somehow learned to crudely type. Two things which are true:
1) I think Steam's huge majority of the PC game marketplace is hugely problematic
2) If I got a Steam Machine I probably wouldn't need a console anymore
