This weekend, I was proud to work with my friends at @baystatestonewall.bsky.social to ensure that the new MassDems platform included language to protect LGBTQ+ people. In this moment in time we cannot afford to take our rights and safety for granted.

I can confidently say that after knowing Etel for more than a decade that she has the kind of character and courage that many people talk about but very few exhibit when the chips are down. She is not the villain in this story.

As someone who plays multiple instruments, I used to think that the keytar was the perfect instrument because you could dance while you played keyboards. As I have gotten older, I now lean towards lap steel because it’s a guitar that you can play with no expectation of ever standing up…
