I almost wrote up a reply expressing I'd like to stop effectively telling folks "skill issue" but they keep presenting problems solved by making better choices.

I love when friends get into meeting TTRPG makers and adjacent folk only to learn why I'm so nonchalant about meeting relatively popular people in the space.

Truly doesn't matter. We're all just slinging ourselves at a wall hoping we stick.

Having eaten as vegan I have the direct experience of sitting down to eat a holiday meal and realizing literally nothing was made without animal products

Honestly because of how I grew up and being actively hostile towards this Holiday (though here in Canada it was over a month ago) most these foods to me are not what I'm eating.

Obviously you're free to do as you please. My main caveat about altering gameplay/rules is about including all involved. If you do so secretly without clarifying & checking first.. I would wager you're not that fun to play with.
