its crazy to remember that so many people doubted that Tomodachi Life would ever get a sequel because Nintendo promised they'll allow same gender couples, and not only did they do that but you can be NONBINARY or multiple genders at the same time. Wow.

I feel like Cosmic Princess Kaguya could have REALLY EASILY been bad or boring or generic or forgettable. Execution always matters but I feel like the core ideas driving (most) of this movie were especially prone to the possibility of being like. Boring and who cares.

can I say it was good? no, I think? I feel like there were quite a few things I wish were handled differently. but it had some good or interesting ideas and I felt motivated to keep going.
