We're on flat fjord water on a cold, grey day, looking at mountainous landscape. Jagged, rocky slopes form layers into the background with most of the mountain tops hidden under banks and ribbons of white cloud. The most distant mountain tops we can see have large patches of snow and ice on them. Tendrils of cloud at lower altitude stretch out from within the layered folds of the rocky landscape.

From a high angle on a cruise ship just departing a port we're looking across a short stretch of water back to land where a ship is docked in front of the city behind it. It's an overcast day, feeling cool with a little dampness in the air. The ship we're looking at is a large fishing vessel, almost 75 metres long, sitting high in the water with its dark blue hull giving way to a white deck area. The raised bridge area is central with space in front and behind to house numerous crane arms for loading and unloading catches. At the aft there are raised beams which likely support and drag nets while at sea. The city behind is low-lying and a mix of art nouveau buildings mingling with more modern structures, but only a couple of buildings are over four storeys in height. A stone church tower with reasonable small spire is only exceeded by a more distant and impressive building coloured yellow with a high tower topped by an onion dome and spire.

I seem to recall they used to use some of these more orchestral music bits nearer the end of Music on Radio Solent when waiting for the football matches to finish on a Saturday afternoon so they could read out the scores.
