Not doing it at the moment. I've favored a MySQL backend with an API layer, more of a traditional setup. I love the idea of rules being in the configuration, but in practice I've found it difficult to maintain by hand. Plus with an ORM, AI knows the traditional setup pretty well when I'm vibing.

I recently had a problem like that involving automatic lens detection and correction 😂

Stick to your "boring" stack. When you don't have to think about the how, you can focus entirely on the what.

The goal is to ship, not to build the world’s most sophisticated workflow.

The hidden cost of "New":
- The Tax: 10+ hours lost to migration and learning shortcuts.
- The Debt: A lost weekend of actual shipping.
- The Truth: Speed comes from muscle memory, not feature sets.

But as one with a relatively low follower count on X and here, I find I'm getting almost the same numbers here on Blue sky as I do on X with 140ish followers. I think maybe people are more willing to engage because they understand the platform is smaller. Not sure.

For starters, I see more actual builders posting actual updates here. On exit seems like it's shameless self-promotion and bragging about followers to try to get more followers for no reason.

Nice! I own skinnyr.com and recently relaunched it. Doesn't have an app tho. But I do have 58k users (which I'm apparently not allowed to email) over the last 20 years. A couple dozen MAUs though. If there's a chance for collaboration lmk. It just kinda sits there.
