#nowwatching Frogman (2023). It doesn't have a great letterboxed rating, but I'm sure it'll be toadally awesome. Hopfully none of the nice characters croak. It's found footage, so I think we'll see everything, warts and all. So far, I'm ribbeted. #horrorsky

Ok, another Giallo. #nowwatching Strip Nude for Your Killer (1975). Goodness, what a salacious title! I do hope the name wasn't chose as a way to draw in an audience for a film that couldn't stand on its own merits. #horrorsky

#nowwatching #missingcouple (2024). A bit of undemanding found footage for the evening... #horroraky

In the gym, and #nowlistening to Act of Aggression by Electric Chair (2023). Fast, aggressive hardcore. Love it!

#nowwatching The Red Queen Kills Seven Times (1972). Another Giallo, picked almost entirely at random. #horrorsky

#nowwatching The Masque of the Red Death (1964). Somehow, a first time watch! Incredible atmosphere in the openinf scenes, and Vincent Price is having the time of his life. #horrorsky

The band's always been a rotating cast around Ginn, but...I mean...lol

#nowwatching The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh (1971). It's been a while since I watched a giallo, and you can't go wrong with Sergio Martino and Edwige Fenech! #horrorsky
November 23, 2025 at 2:06 AM
#nowwatching The Ghost of Kasane Swamp (1957). I've had a Russian DVD of this sitting around for years, and only just realised it has English subtitles. I can follow the Japanese ok, but it's good to get the nuances! #horrorsky

#nowwatching The Leopard Man (1943). A Val Lewton/Jacques Tourneur collaboration. A string of murders is attributed to an escaped leopard...but is the big cat really to blame? #horrorsky

As if this is even a question

#nowwatching The Hunchback of the Morgue (1973), another Paul Naschy classic. #horrorsky
November 21, 2025 at 11:10 AM
Busy, but closing out the day with a film. #nowwatching Host (2020), a pandemic horror about friends having a seance over a webcam. I've seen this once before, but I don't remember all that much about it. #horrorsky
November 20, 2025 at 2:37 PM
#nowwatching The Blackening (2022). Friends on a group holiday are threatened and forced to play a game by a mysterious stranger. #horrorsky
November 19, 2025 at 11:20 AM
#nowwatching Black Demons (1991), a production from the waning days of 80s zombie mania, and the last horror film directed by Umberto Lenzi. On a Brazilian plantation, the victims of a failed slave rebellion are resurrected and start to take their revenge... #horrorsky
November 18, 2025 at 8:07 AM
#nowwatching King of the Zombies (1941). Another early zombie film, though far from a classic. A poverty row production, cheaply produced and stuffed with offensive racial stereotypes (Mantan Moreland still manages to play the most interesting character though...). Give it a miss. #horrorsky

You'd love to think this moment will come back to haunt this male character, but from experience I doubt it.
November 16, 2025 at 12:28 PM
#nowwatching The Night of the Werewolf (1981), another film where Paul Naschy plays his werewolf character Count Waldemar Daninsky. Looking forward to this one! I hope more of Naschy's films get Blu-ray releases, because I'd love to see them. #horrorsky
November 16, 2025 at 12:20 PM
#nowwatching Good Boy (2025). A dog tries to defend his owner from a supernatural presence. Rare to see an animal protagonist, but I'm here for it! #horrorsky
November 16, 2025 at 12:40 AM
#nowwatching Forbidden World (1982), a Roger Corman-produced sci-fi/horror. Basically, a low-budget riff on Alien, festooned with superfluous nudity. #horrorsky
November 15, 2025 at 7:38 AM
#nowwatching Countess Dracula (1971), a Hammer-produced horror/drama, inspired by the story of Elizabeth Bathory. #horrorsky
November 14, 2025 at 10:59 AM
#justwatched The Werewolf and the Yeti (1975). A Paul Naschy video nasty which starts as an adventure story before morphing into a fantasy/horror hybrid. A fun plot, effective gore, some impressively acrobatic fight scenes from Naschy, and a werewolf vs. Yeti showdown. What's not to like? #horrorsky
November 13, 2025 at 11:06 AM
#nowwatching Human Beasts (1980), a Paul Naschy vehicle about...well...human beasts. The first scene is set on board one of the pirate ships that takes tourists across the lake in Hakone, which I've been on a few times myself. Interesting to see! #horrorsky
November 12, 2025 at 11:19 AM
#nowwatching Born of Fire (1987), a British folk horror/fantasy about a flautist, an astronomer, and a Djinn having a musical battle in Türkiye. And they say there are no original ideas left... #horrorsky #filmsky
November 11, 2025 at 9:43 AM
#nowwatching The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964). The second of Hammer's Mummy films. I enjoyed the original, and while this lacks the star power of Cushing and Lee, hopefully it'll keep some of the same spirit. #horrorsky #filmsky
