and torches, because i could not help myself from putting them together once i realized how simple light sources would be to add. though rn you can clearly detect walls in darkness by thinking about throwing things at them; to be fixed later

i left with probably three or four that work. only tested the one that looked best though. have plans for more.

also should have waited to twist until she the other stuff. got some review of the drifting from a friendly smith. so then i drifted a hole properly for practice

did a few things wrong. should have been more patient and cut the grooves with an angle grinder instead of a chisel, spaced the other cuts too far, etc. but mostly i was really struggling to remember how to drift a hole. however!

idk what the simple square twist with a groove cut down each side is called but here's a rough example. i absolutely did not carefully center my grooves or ensure the same length on each face, as is obvious
