To show you how bad damp can be in Ireland, I got this thing last week to try combat it.

See that indicator on the bottom right? The red mark shows when you're supposed to replace the filter.

It's supposed to last three months.
A mini dehumidifier thingy, which works via an absorbent brick slotted into the top. A container at the bottom is about a quarter full of blue-tinged water A closer look at the sticker on the bottom right. As the water fills the container, it "fills" in a meter on the sticker. It is already over halfway.

I got a best of Joy Division/New Order CD today, and gave it a listen.

'World of Motion' started playing, and let's just say it quickly got skipped, and will not be getting played again.
First paragraph from the Wikipedia entry for the New Order song, "World in Motion." Me and @fjaskgf.bsky.social back in the way before times, when we visited that weird store in Toronto that felt like it was run by a mob boss. Can't remember the name, but it was one of the locations in the Scott Pilgrim comics.

Remember that mountain of Lego I got for my nephews a while back?

Well, I got two Lego storage boxes to make things more presentable on Christmas day, and this... took a while.
