Your neighbours wife and kids are still nice, so you feel a little bad. But going over to their house simply does not spark joy, and you are waiting for them to figure things out amongst themselves before making the effort to go visit them again.

Why are people so mad? The budget proposes a zero per cent property tax freeze, which means around $120 million in "efficiencies" likely needing to be found. But there aren't a lot of details about the possible cuts, because staff had to prep the budget in a hurry in response to council direction.
