It's difficult to see someone you know, but aren't close to, suffering greatly, to the point of desperately pretending that everything's fine when it very obviously is not. They read as hysterical, and I don't even think that their heart is in it at all. But as I said, I am not close to them at all-

A cute dragon, with a light blue body, dark blue belly, frosty purple spines along the head, neck, and back, a frosty purple heart-shaped tip on its tail, webbed & wing-like dark blue ears, and dark blue, feathered wings with stars and auroras on them. The eyes are a deep blue, with an even darker blue sclera, and light blue lashes. The paws and feet are alternating purple and bluish white frost. The dragon has a sort of frosty texture on its back and extremities.
