X-men '97 reignited a love for x-men that I lost somewhere in the 2010s with avengers vs X-men, and marvel running X-men into the ground, I recently read HoX/PoX and have been doing the full claremont run and krakoa in order, this is gonna be my long running x-thread #x-men #comicsky #comics #krakoa

reading Hickman's marvel stuff before doing this AvX-Pre-krakoa read was both been a blessing (read those on their own merits and had fun and it won't break up my x-men cravings during this read) and a very big curse because the remaining events in this era are IvX, death of X, and civil war II

picking a team for that first movie is so hard but I would always have storm there tbh, I'd be saving gambit and rogue for later stuff because I wanna do rogue villain to hero arc, I think its too hard to please everyone, my teams look more giant sized like, but poor bobby missing out on this.

on my road reading through all the swamp thing, I was already intrigued for this morrison chunk and them ghost writing for mark millar, but wow I liked this Nancy A. Collins run, but it just STOPS, it doesn't end, and now I really have to see how/if Morrison salvages it and gets it back on track

just found Gillen Sword and x-men: breaking points TPBs online for cheap, so now I have all of that run! I'm looking at my collection and I really need them to put out a Mike Carey X-men legacy omni alongside brubaker and fraction x-men omnis and I'll have like 90% of my fav era physical!
