Been here and there. Stood on a corner in Winslow Arizona. Ended up back where I started. Internalized battle of Ying & Yang. Spent a lifetime masking.

There is a way out of this, but it requires the government providing subsidized material services for *everybody* rather than allowing everyone equal participation to a market, which leaves everyone else subject to the already wealthy

At that point, I cancelled the order entirely. If simple delivery requires three days, finger-pointing, and a hang-up, I’m not risking the rest of the project with them.

The rep literally blamed me for choosing the service they sell, and when I pushed back (admittedly angrily), she hung up on me.

When I called to ask what was going on, I was told the delay was actually because I had selected next-day delivery—which apparently sent the order to a third-party gig-driver service that “couldn’t find a driver.”

Day 3: FedEx finally showed—with one small item from the entire order.
Keep in mind: they repeatedly told me an adult had to be home for this delivery. So I’ve now burned three days on standby.

Day 2: The 1–3 p.m. window came and went. No delivery. I called again. This time I was told it would arrive by 8 p.m. Still fine; I rearranged my day and waited.
At exactly 8 p.m., I got a text telling me the delivery was now pushed to the next day, 1–3 p.m.

Day 1: Nothing arrived. I called and was told there was a “delay.” Fine—things happen. They assured me it would come the next day.

I’m starting a home improvement project and placed a fairly large order—several hundred dollars’ worth of materials—plus $60 for next-day delivery. They confirmed the order was ready to go.
