Bingo. I keep thinking about little boys running around playing war with each other, using Big Boy voices to try to sound badass, when they're just kids with toy weapons. The problem is that Hegseth doesn't see a difference between the toys and the real things.

As someone who was a caseworker for NYC's Division of AIDS Services and other AIDS-related social services in the late '80's/early 90's, this day means a lot to me. I lost a lot of people I cared about then. Thank you for bringing it up.

I wonder if Zac George or another "celebrity" dog trainer (one of the good, cruelty-free ones) might be persuaded to take her on as a training "client" and help her to become more adoptable. Maybe a long-shot, but maybe it's worth a try?
