Naz is what I'd call an "isekai antagonist" 🤣 he started as a half demon D&D character in an evil campaign many years ago. He is the son of Graz'zt, demon prince of shadows. He grew up in the abyss, full of chaos and demons...not a nice place... So his lore has softened a bit since landing in Eorzea

Naz is canonically a sorcerer deriving his power from his demonic bloodline. I rp him as a black mage in xiv as that's about as close as I can get to his skillset, though he has more than just the destructive magics that Black mage specializes in at his disposal, such as the ability to charm others.
