I know! They're trying to justify it by saying the library is often full and the books don't circulate as well as they used to. It's ONLY full during finals week. AND the collection is crumbling and not weeded so that's why it doesn't circulate well. It's all bullshit.

Oh! Our public library where I worked had a home delivery service for the elderly or otherwise homebound or whatnot. I applied for the job but didn't get it! It was a cool position bc you called or emailed and got to know each person you helped each week and built relationships.

Haha yes renew it! I prefer physical media mostly too. It's so overwhelming figuring out all the other options. I just want a book! I think the TechBro library wave is gross and partly tied to the book banning shit.
