🎄What a joy it was to join in the Christmas fun, at Hempstead Fayre this evening.

🎅🏽 It was wonderful to hear carols from the choir and to meet the brilliant winners of the Flying Saucer writing competition, who shared their winning stories.

I'm determined to improve Gillingham Town Centre.

✍🏾Read my recent letter to the Minister for Devolution, Faith and Communities, Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, about the specific support required to boost our high street.

It’s higher than it looks, I promise!

The old funding model left Medway, under real pressure

Now the Government is fixing that with a fairer system that focuses on local needs & tackles deprivation

This is our chance to secure the funding our community deserves. I’m fighting hard to make sure our voice is heard loud & clear

It's been a long time coming...today we are reconnecting council funding with deprivation ->

Tackling deprivation and reversing years of unfair council funding
Outdated funding formulas that penalised deprived areas for decades are being scrapped, so local people finally get the vital public services they deserve.

Gillingham is a community, not a get rich quick scheme

👉🏾I’m not opposed to all HMOs, but we need to manage the numbers through tougher local regulation

❌@property_apprentice view of Gillingham as a cash cow is damaging and wrong

✅We need an Article 4 Direction to get a grip on this issue

This week I’ve been:

🌹Paying tribute to our armed forces
🏠Pushing for further regulation on HMOs

Thank you to the Chancellor for welcoming local Medway businesses to Number 11 Downing Street yesterday.

I was delighted to be joined by Lenis Yiangou, who owns, family-run restaurant, Ela Kendro, serving up delicious Greek food in Gillingham.

On Armistice Day, we remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice & honour all those who defended our country and fought for our freedom.

Today I observed a two minute silence & attended a special service at the #HistoricalDockyardChatham

Three generations of my family are buried in Chatham Cemetery, and I was born, raised and educated locally. I am British through and through 🇬🇧

So why is my #identity constantly questioned?

‘Slowly but surely, we have been effectively boiled like frogs in a pot of hate…’
In her first KentOnline column, Gillingham and Rainham MP Naushabah Khan says the immigration debate is taking a sinister turn.

This week I've been:

✅Securing stronger rental rights
🏠Backing new homes for our military
🚫Opposing exploitative working practices
🌹Honouring our fallen heroes
November 9, 2025 at 3:44 PM
It was an honour to lay a wreath in honour of those who gave so much for our country.

A moving moment to stand with our community, reflecting on the courage and sacrifice of all who served, & continue to serve, for our freedom.

We will remember them 🌹

❗I don’t oppose the existence of #HMOs. They play a vital role in #housing students, key workers, and professionals priced out of other options.

👉🏾But when too many pop up too fast in one area, without thought for #community balance, issues follow. And people are right to be concerned.

Reform MP Sarah Pochin not in the chamber today for #PMQs it must be because seeing our faces makes her mad…
October 29, 2025 at 1:18 PM
The conversation about immigration has taken a sinister turn. It’s no longer just about policy; it’s about race.

I won’t stand for it. We can’t let hate and division decide who belongs in Britain. This country is stronger, kinder, and better than that 🇬🇧 #immigration #race #sarahpochin #british

‎What's real Britain?

‎🍛Curry on a Friday 🍗 Roast on a Sunday

‎🩵Food aside, I’m from a working class background, born & raised in Medwayً & now I’m proud to represent my home town in Parliament. That’s what makes Britain special, not flags

‎P.S Tikka Masala is not proper curry!
