Trans pride flag above my bed. I'm 53 and widowed an I'm out and I'm proud. And my late wife would have been proud of me too! She would have been proud of me finally asserting who I really am.

I have psoriasis so when I've tried using foundation, it does weird things on my face. I'm also just new to using makeup but I find I feel the need to do something every day. It helps me feel more feminine.

November 22nd would have been mine and my wife's 30th anniversary. We only had 27. I made the guitar, called Laurie Lynn in honor of her memory.
It is the first guitar I've ever made and I wish she could have seen it.
I will always remember.
