Rad, thanks for all the responses, everyone! I'm gonna buy it and try it out, I guess. I've never played a deckbuilder before or even many roguelike type things, so it'll be good to experience something new. Good gamedev homework!

Is Balatro actually good, or is it just addictive? Everyone's talking about it so I kind of wanna check it out as a gamedev to see what the fuss is about, but I have a lot of other games to play, too...

I did a painting using Vermillion.... in VR! Using the passthrough cameras to paint what I was looking at outside. Really cool! I was surprised at how much it felt like actual oil painting! o:

I just went to an eye doctor's appointment, and I met my first ever in-the-wild fan there! He asked me what I did for work, and I told him I was making Maple Forest...and he knew what it was?!?! He was super cool and nice! I'm gonna gift him a copy of the game, lolll 😭♥️

Currently working on a SUPER cute drawing of my game's mermaid. She's finding treasure on the beach, lol. It's a "thanks for the support!" post for the Kickstarter. It won't be done for another few days, but I just finished her face and I'm SO HAPPY with how it came out, so I had to come share it 😭
