This arrived and the result was better than I could have possibly hoped. It did not come with the original packaging.

It came with the packaging from Hollywood Video circa 2003.

There's a price sticker in the corner that says "PRE-OWNED $6.99". The back of the same PS2 game box, which has the basic controls written on it in lieu of the game manual. At the bottom is the Hollywood Video logo and underneath that in very small text it says "©2003 Hollywood Management Company"

I bring you environmental storytelling from the elevator machine room of this building: a charging cable, plugged in and coated with dust, in this room where no one ever goes

A black USB charging cable is plugged into a power outlet, covered with a layer of fine dust. Nothing is connected to it. The outlet in a junction box surface mounted to the wall (not embedded in it like usual). There are two metal breaker boxes above the outlet, with several pieces of metal wire conduit coming out of them, including one that goes to the outlet.

Walked to the Come Out With Pride event at Lake Eola afterwards (with what felt like half the No Kings crowd, chanting and cheering the whole way). Didn't have time to stick around for the parade or anything, but had fun checking it out.

Went to the #NoKings protest at Orlando City Hall this morning. My first time going, but it was a good time. Tons of people!

Weird Al performed for more than two hours, performing all his material you could possibly want and a few surprises (like a straight cover of George Harrison's What Is Life, "by request"... of his guitarist).

Turns out, Al is harder to recognize at a distance than Puddles, but here's the best I got

Opening act was Puddles Pity Party, who was great. Fantastic voice and plenty of clowning around, as you might expect.

Venue was in Clearwater, had not been before. But I'm always a fan of amphitheaters. What's the point of living in Florida if you can't enjoy being outside?

A parking lot in bright sunlight. The spaces are extra long for trailers or RVs. The back of the lot is filled with a big plowed snowbank, about 6 feet high and 100 feet long. Behind that is a line of fir trees. The view of a lake from the shore. The lake is completely iced over, and there is snow on the banks. Some of the snow has melted in the sun and the water is pooling on top of the ice, most likely to freeze again when the temperature drops overnight. I used to have an image folder of every random shot from Space Battleship Yamato 2199 that I thought was cool. Sadly, I lost it when that hard drive crashed.

A significant percentage of it was just different shots of Captain Okita making this exact face.
