Now reading this, and of course her birthdate wasn’t record. It’s fascinating that no enslaver that I’ve ever come across bothered to dignify the enslaved by at least marking down the basic human facts.

Kirk was not doing it “exactly the right way.” The both sides of this argument is either a cynical Trojan horse, or naive pablum. Ensconced as a “public intellectual” via a job at the gray lady, Klein doesn’t realize he’s been faced to look into the niche and not so as to survey the terrain.

Annnnnnd, this is why I don’t trust Ezra Klein. That or he’s just not that smart. Kirk was a man tearing our country apart. His death is a mere accelerant. A convenient excuse to move forward a project we’re deep into.

The ten most dangerous jobs in America last year were…ok it’s a list from 2022. I couldn’t find a clean list from 2024, but it’s the same result pretty much every year.
