The integral under this spike is how much disaster capitalism profited off this f*uck up. Let’s call it an hour at $2500/MWh. Peak demand was about 15,500MW during that hour. So this was on the order of $40M in profit - ultimately paid by ratepayers.

Looks like the imports were volatile, Brunswick & NYISO. Also demand weirdly ramped up a few hundred MW above forecast starting around 4:30-5:00.

Also why did Riley downplay a serious breach of protocol & normalize unannounced campus DHS visits by calling it “routine”? Does that mean we can/should expect more campus visits?
