The integral under this spike is how much disaster capitalism profited off this f*uck up. Let’s call it an hour at $2500/MWh. Peak demand was about 15,500MW during that hour. So this was on the order of $40M in profit - ultimately paid by ratepayers.

For the many who can (not everyone can) it’s a reliable 15 min by bike & 35 min by foot; you’ll pollute less, save money, increase your health, reduce congestion for those who actually must use a car, and reduce your utter dependency on the car-fossil-fuel-industrial complex.
