Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Disney+ moving into user-generated AI could allow the kind of "contradictions" that Walt never would have allowed. That's why you don't see a Tomorrowland cast member walking through Main Street U.S.A. It spoils the story. Anyhow, the latest from @thr.com: www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/bus...
Disney’s AI Gamble Is Riskier Than You Think
Bob Iger made a splash when he said AI features may be coming to Disney+. But Sora-ifying the platform would come with a host of hidden challenges.

Hi! There's been lots of doomscrolling lately because many things are awful. However, sleep deprivation makes everything worse. You still deserve time to rest and recover. Try not to stay up too late tonight. Max loves you.

Today is the 85th anniversary of one of my favorite films, FANTASIA. As a child, my parents took me to see the movie, and gifted me with a beautiful gatefold LP set full of descriptions of the music, hand-drawn illustrations, and that beautiful deco lettering. 1/2

I think online opinions would be slightly less insufferable if folks just qualified their pronouncements with “I think…” or “My favorite is…” or something similar. And there. I said what I said. 😁
