It's not just about scrapping Ofwat. The government should look at the whole package of Lib Dem proposals, like transforming the failing water companies into Public Benefit Corporations, forcing them to stop dumping sewage and invest in their infrastructure before paying out to shareholders.

Refurbed public toilets in
Winchester have been a Number One issue - if you're a resident or visitor who uses Abbey Garden toilets, then you're in luck!

The new toilets look fantastic and are a vast improvement. They're ready to welcome visitors to our city this summer!

Disappointed by this blanket ban. It only feeds the "they're all the same" narrative
STATEMENT ON PRIDE:
While we understand #Pride organisers' frustrations with Labour and the Conservatives' swithering on LGBT+ and especially trans+ rights of late, we are sickened to our core to be lumped together with them in a blanket suspension on parties attending major Prides this year.

Met the Deputy Mayor of Lviv at the Town Hall.

We got on fine until the translator explained I was a vet, at which point the Deputy Mayor started swiping at me. No joke.

As a vet, I stand in solidarity with the penguins of Heard Island. My team has reached out to the ambassador and I can confirm we are negotiating a new krill export deal to compensate for the economic impact they're facing from these tariffs.

People struggling to make ends meet are more likely to suffer with mental health. Improving mental health means reducing the cost of living, well paid jobs for all, affordable rents and making sure children aren't going hungry in school. I'm worried this government is heading in the wrong direction.

So many of my patients rely on PIP to access recovery treatment.

Without it they probably wouldn't survive, let alone be able to access treatment.

PIP is already very hard to get - plans to make it harder are simply cruel.

📸 No one follows more etiquette rules than the Royal Family—but notice how King Charles didn’t make any smart-ass or demeaning comments about Zelensky’s attire today.

Why? Because respect isn’t about clothes—it’s about character. And that’s something money can’t buy.

Well as far as I can tell, this seems to be the current proposals (light red, alongside existing in dark red) for new Combined Authorities

Great response in Winnall this evening, speaking to residents to find out their issues and concerns around the area. We had some great feedback about the current cultural offerings in Winchester Town, but hearing concerns about the county-run services- which makes the delayed elections even worse!

Thank you to @dannychambers.bsky.social for joining Team Eastgate in St Cross yesterday, supporting Paula for Hampshire County Council.

People are increasingly concerned about road safety, including the main road's poor state of repair

Just had a stroll round my patch of Winnall, and saw some frankly awful potholes - I would say "shockingly", but frankly is it a surprise anymore?

This isn’t an endorsement or a guarantee of accuracy, but I mapped out what seem to be some current English Combined Authority proposals. An interesting mixture of shapes and sizes - and population sizes

Out again in Highcliffe speaking to residents today. Many are concerned about the Number 4 Bus Service which has seen a reduced service. Paula has written to Stagecoach to raise serious concerns about the city’s vital bus services, including the 4 as well as 2 from Winnall to Stanmore
