Nice night out on a boat in Greenland last night.

Moments like these, cooking dinner over an open fire, sitting on the shores of the amazing Fort Peck Reservoir in Montana, watching a storm roll through at sunset into a beautiful rainbow. Moments like these are why I’m so passionate about being outside and seeing the world around us.

America's public lands are perhaps the single greatest asset our country has. Protected wilderness, open space parks, BLM, Forest Service, and grazing lands are without a doubt our richest resource, and aside from generating *literally* trillions in revenue, they're also vital for our survival.

This is why we have Pride Month: because in many places simply the act of loving someone of the same sex can result in years of attacks culminating in a murder. This is a devastating, and senseless, loss.

RIP Jonathan Joss.

I've recently started a new project called "Film The Wild." A collection of peaceful, long-form clips from the most beautiful places in the world set to relaxing music. Perfect for studying, yoga, bedtime, etc.

I’m a human being and I created this art without the help of AI because I took the time to learn how.

I want to love Bluesky but literally every aspect of it is worse:
- image quality
- file size (extremely limiting for video)
- upload time
- no HDR support
- no edit button

Idk man, I want to use this platform but it’s a real slog.

Don’t mind me, just watching the northern lights dance over the oceanr

As I sit on the plane flight home I’m surprised to be feeling melancholy. Usually the end of a long trip brings relief as I finally get to relax & catch up on sleep. A full month of this view directly out my back window centered me, and I’ll miss the peace and spectacular scenery of northern Norway

Real-time video of the northern lights from last night 😍🤯

Absolutely incredible show last night! I’ve got about 5,000 photos to go through (in the form of timelapses), but this iPhone shot pretty much tells the story.

People keep defending AI by saying it won’t take any jobs from creatives, but this post very literally shows otherwise. A person with a camera and even somewhat moderate competance could have made this in less than an hour. This is disgusting and embarrassing for the Mets staff.

This is perhaps the most outrageous thing I've ever captured. A moonbow (rainbow made from moonlight rather than sunlight), with snow (rather than rain) with the northern lights behind it. A Polar Lunar Snowbow?

The other night I captured something I never thought I'd see: a lunar rainbow (rainbow, but from moonlight), with the northern lights behind.
