Hes been beating on this for a while. He seems to not understand growth trends.. seems to be stuck in his 90s briefings that predicted limited pop.growth and led to the current infrastructure crises

The problem is we have Ministers who believe we need to build infrastructure for the 1950s

I do think Labour needs to change gears on their media strategy - and Greens need to be visible. There is fertile ground for greens to be active in the RMA/ Climate/ environment debate as well as general social justice spaces.

Greens number is uncharacteristically low - there could have been a drop, which would be explained by Labour releasing policy and attacks on greens as been seen as "too radical". Labour seems right, Nats seem high and also the coalition parties high.

yeah, my understanding was Black Friday was down. Personally, I think the pick up from what I can see will be more like the third quarter next year - the view National has is believing the only people that matter are the house owners and mortgagees - but there is also still business foreclosures

the problem with Labours strategy is that it is at the whims of the coalition govt, and perception of the govt, been more attacking and putting out perspectives allows you to control narrative.

the only thing that I can see pushing National Act up is the green shoots narrative, which is a narrative but it has very little behind it

My suspicion is the economic recovery isnt going to be great. While its looking close national and act are still polishing a turd economically. And with the us economy stalling into disaster it won't get better
