Transphobia? Introduce a law. Make it illegal.

Youth crime? Not enough laws.

Young people on social media? Laws. Illegal. Insta-fix.

The prospect that people don't have the same veneration for authority doesnt compute to them. This mentality is the scourge of everything wrong in society.

Same thing goes for things like wage theft and sexual assault. They think these things can't happen because they're illegal.

If you give them a problem in society, they'll literally just try to put a law on it and imagine problem solved. Its their solution to everything.

Once I realised that, suddenly so much about politics made sense to me.

They think a social media ban will work not because it's effective, but because they think everyone views the law in the same sacred lens they do.

That teens will stay off social media because the law tells them to.

It makes more sense when you consider how much the gambling lobby donates to Labor, and the fact that cabinet ministers then go on to work there.

I agree social media is addictive but it has a really important use, unless gambling, which doesnt.

It asks you to get rid of your lisp, vocal fry and enunciate properly. They have nothing to do with pitch.

It doesnt teach you to be individual, to have your own unique attitude to your voice, it doesn't accept attitude at all. It just makes everyone sound like the same private schoolgirl.

I don't even think it makes people sound feminine, it just makes you sound like you've been through a boarding school deportment class, which is defacto "feminine" because submission, politeness and speaking softly are things rammed into upper class women to maintain their gender.
