Artist and stuff
Had a quick go myself, it’s tough. Frankly it’s also hard to take a flattering reference pic at this angle.

But it’s an earnest try at a late hour, and I think it went alright enough

Did somebody actually say that?! Like we just had fortnight of it being basically the only trans story on the BBC News website

Why is it that sketches on scrap paper seem to turn out so well?

Posting this poem again.

“Seldom will any fail who tries”

Inked a lil lineart portrait of myself with a fountain pen.
Somehow I managed to avoid any smudges right up until the signature.
I guess to smudge is human

Today I peered at a little nook where the wind gathers loose leaves.

From a distance, it’s just a brown heap, but up close?

See the wibble of the ones from the oak, the rich colour red of from the ornamental cherry, and a single splash of shapely green sycamore.

Worth a look!

Perhaps more accurately, a provider can can lawfully exclude all trans people from a single sex service.

But in conjunction with the rest of the ruling, a trans man is automatically excluded from men's spaces on biology, and also may lawfully be excluded from women's spaces for his appearance.

A silly lil thought. Finding the ink to do this was a bit of a quest (in retrospect sharpie may have been easier)

A small sample. The doc also has poetry and a skit or two, but I don't wanna share all my secrets.

With some luck I might actually manage to put artwork to a couple of jokes

Of course women don't like the Cybertuck.

Women only want one thing, and it's an E-Type Jag that's been converted into a hearse.

Given I literally just read a Labour policy announcement, and thought it was from the Tories/Reform
Feels like the right moment for this

Thinking of cover songs. Sometime earlier this year, I realised “Bring It All Back” by S Club 7 would be absolutely phenomenal if covered by a sad and aging country singer.

April’s UK Supreme Court ruling on trans rights, lead the ILGA to determine legal gender recognition in this country was no longer functional.

Idk if I’d call that an “unwavering commitment” to trans rights

Indulging in a little bit of nerdiness, I managed to pick up the Moon Berry in Celeste.
The berry alone accounts for just under a quarter of my deaths in Farewell.

In thumbing through my copy of the Satyricon, I pause at a love poem.

Admittedly I was looking for something else, but spotting one of my old notes is really quite nice.

“Send your apples with kisses and I will relish them”

My go-to cube is a pretty normal size 57mm, but I also have a 42mm cube for when I’m short on space.

Cubes any smaller than that get kinda fiddly.

Share a favourite black and white movie.

My favourites are always subject to change, but when it comes to black and white flicks, Ealing Comedies are always a good bet. The Man in the White Suit (pictured) is today's pick

I wonder if a rise in unfounded views about medicine, could in any way be linked to news media?
Perhaps, wrong opinions shouldn’t be taken seriously (even if those opinions come from famous people)

Got a little sunshine
Met a little butterfly
I think next I might have a little nap

In trying to post more art, and be less of a perfectionist, here’s a couple rough pen sketches I did whilst listening to the rest is politics

Sultana has written a response on X.

I've linked it here, and screenshotted it in two parts (so as to fit all the alt text, which I've transcribed myself)

This is looking like a bit of a mess.
On the one hand Sultana is celebrating signups at this new link
Meanwhile every other MP in Your Party is saying do not trust that new link.

Post a movie you like with a terrible Rotten Tomatoes score.

I included Jason X in last year’s Alien movie marathon, and I’d rather watch it again than Alien 3

Call me old fashioned, but when I click "run troubleshooter" I'd like a troubleshooter to run.

I managed to get out and smell that rose as I’d hoped.

Left me a more teary than I’d expected, but worth doing
