This was literally right next to two schools, it's hard for me to fathom how evil people can be to terrorize children on Halloween of all days

It's a great place! We loved Evanston but it was much less vibrant than Center Square, just need to upgrade the Touhy bus to BRT-lite.
Yeah the proposal comes from Jarrett Walker's work with CTA & local advocacy, extending the route would be a huge upgrade for minimal additional service hours so 🤞🏼

This is right next to my local Dunkin! We just moved into West Ridge near Touhy because we were worried about Evanston's transit getting cut with the fiscal cliff, but if CTA gets funding they might extend the 49B to Howard & the 201 to Bryn Mawr which would be great for regional connectivity
