From the Kenyan front pages. East Africans are allowed to work in each others countries without work permits and there are many Kenyans employed in Tanzania who are now stuck and facing significant backlash from the state that is framing “foreigners” as instigators of election unrest.

If you’re in Nairobi, displaced youth from Sudan are hosting a fundraiser for mutual aid groups in Darfur on Saturday November 8th. Lumin is a great community space ran by displaced youth from Sudan and Ethiopia and they have great coffee and tea. Tell your friends to tell their friends.
