Lovely and thanks for sharing, Nick. I try to record my parents (with their permission) over the years when I visit them. I can't help the documentarian inside me, but I know when I lose either of them, I will turn to what I have.

All it takes is 1 sec of distraction before you hit that child, car, senior, deer, dog, tree. Insanity. You risk your own life, but much worse: you survive but you've killed someone else due to your neglect. Put damn phone away while driving. A perfect opp as a break from phone addiction. Take it.

The least irksome bit is sitting at a red light that turns green and the driver ahead of you is so caught up on their phone, they slow down traffic for the rest of the road because they need to be texting at the red lights. But DRIVING while checking your phone every five seconds is absolutely nuts.

This is the Number 1 thing for me. Not just when I was driving on the N7/other parts of Ireland, but anywhere I am nowadays. Everywhere I look, people are trying to play tennis with their eyes between what's on their phone and what they should be watching (the road). Life-threatening and terrifying.
