So, an early new year's resolution: to read more. Essays, books, lyrics, scripts... everything.

I was picking out a book for one of my nieces who recently turned twelve, and I was surrounded by so much work that I'd read through those years and subsequently forgotten. It felt like reconnecting to a part of myself I've somehow lost touch with.

Compared to Mamdani or Polanski they feel way less believable as humans
