Man, anybody else ready Hillbilly Elegy when it came out? It's been astonishing and depressing to watch Vance since then. Like, I don't expect a beautiful writer to share my views on everything, but to have it finally end up in avowing that a murdered man was an "assassin" is bizarre to me.
