I've been playing TW & EU since the beginning. The steady decline of TW is depressing - I love EU as a strategy game, but have never found a good substitute for historical tactical games.

National Election Study has a lot of that info I believe. But the short answer is that citizen knowledge & political awareness is quite low.

You would be amazed how easy it is to mobilize within a local party. They are desperate for volunteers and people to take on leadership roles.

I think that's an error on wikipedia - PVI is based on the last couple of elections, and Illinois was +10 in 2024 and +17 in 2020.
