Think I'm slowly warming up to Singapore. Its the dead of winter so its only 85 degrees and 80% humidity, easily the most tolerable weather I've experienced in 3 trips

While picking up meat from my local butcher for entertaining last night miracle of miracles they had a few tri tips and once she confirmed it was what I hoped for I yelled sold before she even said the price.
So happy with how it came out and our guests devoured the whole thing. 😁

Saw a favorite band, Justice last night. Imo; better than AC/DC was last week. They showed up ready to blow the roof off the place. Music was an incredible spin on most of their catalogue blended into new remixes and my coworker trusted me enough to get Fear and Loathing'd. No filters or alterations

AC/DC show was a great way to pay for hearing loss. Was a killer set and even included Sin City from my personal introduction to the band, Powerage. Angus Young popped the fuck off on a 20 minute guitar solo for Let There Be Rock that would melt a medieval peasant like Indianna Jones upon hearing it

Finally after a nap at the hotel to recharge I went to dinner at the famous Lau Pa Sat hawker stall market. Smoked chicken wings with sambal & lime were still the absolute best thing there. Didn't enjoy the satay last time so I skipped it tonight.

After lunch I then went to a massive Buddhist monastery. Didn't take pics inside the shrines since that seemed disrespectful as hell but the kitty passed the vibe check and I loved the Superior Dragon Pond. Cool place, friendly people. Ill never forget the four story tall crematorium

After the hike I walked over to a famous Hup Seng Duck Rice food stall. Heatstroke kicked in and I was pretty woozy when I got there which made figuring out a Singaporean scan-to-pay app registration to buy the bottle of water I desperately needed a bit of a struggle but got there eventually.

Been an incredible day back in Singapore. Today only for any tourism so I jam packed it.
Started the morning by shotgunning a cold brewing coffee and then doing a short hike through a nature preserve where I ran into a wild monkey actually eating a banana and had light heatstroke. 10/10 experience
